The Housing Construction programme for BPL families affected by the 2001 earthquake, supported by Caritas Italiana and led by Navjeevan Trust, provided safe and permanent homes to around 700 families. The initiative focused on building durable, disaster-resilient houses with community participation and proper planning, helping affected families restore secure living conditions and rebuild their lives with dignity, safety, and long-term stability.
